Five A/B Tests To Optimize Your Cart Abandonment Emails
In a world where more than 75% of baskets are abandoned you need to be doing the most you can to get opens, clicks and conversions from your abandoned carts. In comes the A/B test, or split testing if you like, where you can experiment with areas of your emails and see what works best with your audience to recover sales – without reinventing the wheel (or bursting the tyre). The most important rule to remember with A/B testing is that you should only test one thing at a time. Otherwise, how will you [...]

People's Gmail accounts appear to be sending out spam
We are aware of a spam campaign impacting a small subset of Gmail users and have actively taken measures to protect against it. This attempt involved forged email headers that made it appear as if users were receiving emails from themselves, which also led to those messages erroneously appearing in the Sent folder. We have identified and are reclassifying all offending emails as spam, and have no reason to believe any accounts were compromised as part of this incident. If you happen to notice a [...]

Grid systems for email
Modular design systems have been prevalent in the email industry for a long time. They’re made up of a series of reusable modules that can be combined in various configurations. Basically no one wants to build endless one-offs and this streamlines the email creation process. Whilst 10?–?20 modules is fairly typical the largest we designed recently had 37. These systems can run quite large and involve a lot of information that needs to be organized in a consistent way. One change to my process that [...]

Also etwa eine [...]
